THE MASJID–TEVHIDHANE

A significant chapter of the Lodge’s architectural and spiritual life is associated with Şeyhülislâm Hacı Veliyyüddin Efendi. Sources indicate that the independent masjid–tevhidhâne at the south-eastern corner of the site was built under his patronage, strengthening the Lodge as a place where learning and worship meet. This space also carried an educational function over time, reflecting the Lodge’s enduring tradition of scholarship alongside devotion.

Veliyyüddin Efendi’s tomb is counted among the structures associated with the Lodge complex, making the site not only a preserved monument, but also a living place of remembrance.
